What happens after I register?
Once we have received your form we will send you your first Council tax bill in the post. You should receive it within 15 working days. If you haven't received it by then, please contact us
This will not be treated as a claim for Housing and/or Council Tax Benefit. If you wish to apply for either of these benefits please go to www.redbridge.gov.uk/benefits.
Please note In the interests of efficiency and to provide a more integrated service, information provided for Council Tax purposes may be shared with other departments of Redbridge Council. This information may also be shared with other agencies in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 for the detection and prevention of fraud and crime.
Declaration
I declare that the information I have given is complete and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understood that the Council may check the information against other data sources and that I may be liable to a penalty if I knowingly supply false information. It is a criminal offense to make a false declaration to obtain a discount.
