Request a Certificate of No Liability

The Certificate of No Liability can only be requested by a funeral director.

We can only issue this certificate if the burial is taking place in Redbridge.

When you complete this form, you'll need to submit:

The death certificate
A translation of the death certificate into English
Permission for the removal of deceased from the country, for example official documentation from the relevant country's authority such as coroners, embassy, Home Office, policing department
Confirmation from East London Coroners that no further investigation is required and they have not issued a permission form for the burial passport of deceased
A copy of the deceased person’s passport
